Caryl Felicetta, COO
The eighties were an exciting time for Caryl Felicetta. After growing some roots in small and large New Jersey and New York ad agencies, on staff and as a freelancer, she founded The Argyle Studio with the goal being to provide clients with the same big agency ideas and talent without the overhead, bureaucracy and impersonalization of a large company. Caryl’s expertise in Macintosh system setup and application usage, her design and illustration skills, and her background in computer illustration and animation led to a full-service advertising, design, and consulting business for a client base that included Fortune 500 companies, industrial product manufacturers, B-to-B and not-for-profit entities.
As early adopters of digital imaging and animation, Argyle was among the first in their area to add website development and marketing as a service. Through Argyle, she consulted on building and marketing customer-centric websites along with developing promotional materials and corporate identity for ad agencies and businesses.
In 2003, a chance meeting with Larry Bailin and Jim Farrell of Single Throw turned into Argyle being acquired by the award-winning Internet marketing firm. Since then, Caryl has served as COO of the company, leading the firm's solution development and operations team.
She often speaks at business and technology forums on website development and Internet marketing, and has served on the Small Business & Non-Profit panel at Internet.com's Search Engine Strategies 2002 Conference. Caryl can also be heard on various Podcasts and recorded training materials available on the Internet. She has been called on for comments, and eagerly given them, by publications such as The New York Times, Entrepreneur magazine (where she and The Argyle Studio were featured in an article), MacWorld, as well as various other web-based publications.
Her gift of gab and love of creative writing has become both a great business tool, as well as a hobby. When not online, she can be found enjoying the outdoors with her lifetime companion, John, and their Lab puppies, Murphy and Chester.
